    • Definitely - the same goes for music - if I can still stand it after I've spent a week solid rehearsing it, it's a keeper, and probably actually in that week of intensive rehearsal will...

    • Thanks very much! I've never actually studied Sartre, I actually only read Nausea because Joss Whedon recommended it on the commentary track to the Firefly episode "Objects in Space"...

Deliberately ambiguous titles rule! This was written a week ago. Might as well not waste it!
Well, turns out that Dickie is a huge liar, and these is in fact no wifi on this train of any kind at all. However, you can take our wifi, but you can never take our OpenOffice.org! Which is ... Continue reading »

  • Wooo for Virgin Trains and cheap tickets! Says the girl who loathes Virgin Trains with a passion... Unfortunate, given the circumstances.
  • There are trains worse than Virgin trains, Lucy. Much worse...

Oh, and Zombiepocalypse. Zombies can't run, whereas robots have lasers, supervolcanoes sound pretty bad, nuclear annihilation stings somewhat and I'll have to put sun cream on all the bloody time if global warming happens much more.

Also, I thought birds flu around anyway?
  • Oh, and not a liar, just mistaken.
  • re. Virgin Trains: They may not be bad at turning up when they're meant to, but they smell and make me feel sick and lack leg room (even the swishy new ones that I see they put on for Londoners!). Though admittedly they are also the long-distance trains that I have to use the most often, so am therefore more likely to complain about.

re. apocolypses: Global climate change, probably, so my family and I could say "Told you so!". Or death by asteroid 'cos at least we'd all go at once.

re. bad, bad, bad jokes: Oh dear. Oh dear!
  • I love Virgin trains. They are so fast compared to the South West Train around where I live.

I'd go with supervolcano. Always liked cold weather. Hmm.
  • RSS = Broken????

And zombies, you can fight zombies. Preferably slow moving dawn of the dead zombies that you can shoot one at a time, rather than 28 days later crazy running zombies.

I cannot fight off robots, or asteroids, or viruses and my nuclear bunker will not be finished for a few years.

  • RSS should be un-broken now, I've unhacked the change I made.

If it still doesn't work, unsubscribe and subcribing again should fix it.
  • RSS = fixed
  • Oh and a slap is due for the bird 'flu' joke.
  • Robopocalypse.
